About Us
PCBDD began as a schooling program called Brooks-Yates in 1967 to offer the county’s first educational services for children with disabilities. This school program was brought to fruition by Fannie Brooks and Mary May Yates who saw a need for their children and other families in Pickaway County.
The services provided by PCBDD have evolved to better meet needs of inclusion with our current culture. Services such as education, employment and social supports focus on the inclusion for people with disabilities within their community.
